goodluck!
+1 sometimes i wish i would've just keep my 6 speed Honda Accord. Don't get me wrong i love my stang like you do, but the constant sick obsession (it just never goes away lol) to constantly throw money at it starts to become more of a stress at times. But no matter how i feel at times i just can't bring my self to sell it. Plus i only have 2 more payments lol.

OP, that price for that many miles is a tad high IMO. See if he will come down a bit, if this is a car you truly want.

Welcome to the forum.

Like the other members said these cars can become a addiction.
I started out with a 99GT and modded that.
Just couldnt have enough of these cars and ended up buying a 97 Cobra in sig.

If you look around hard enough you may be able to find a 96-99 Cobra for the price of a modded GT.

Found Cobra in winter because I know the price would sky rocket once the nice weather came.

Just my 2

BTW.. This forum is awesome and so arent the people on it .
You came to the right place for advice good luck on your hunts.

not to be a downer but also see if the owner has maint records. Being at 98k miles you definitely want to see about the brakes being done, radiator flush, water/fuel pumps being replaced, any belts being replaced. Although not that expensive maint wise, if anything shouldve been done that wasnt, can be very costly. Just another thing to think about....see if you can get it checked out by a mechanic ahead of time...

if a car has been maint'd well and taken care of...it can last for a very long time

One thing i do recommend, if you do get a mustang - please dont try to be a showoff. Most 16 year old mustang owners end up wrapping it around a tree because they think they own a ferrari.

Looks like a nice deal OP. Keep your options open though. I just bought a completely stock (no exhaust or intake mods or anything) 01 GT automatic with 61k for $8300. I love driving it, already put 1k miles on it in just over 4 weeks.
