I installed one of these from UPR on a friend of my step-son's '98 Cobra--it's identical to the Hurst unit, just costs a bit less.

Easy install, I did it the same as this fellow documented...

Go for slp. Good quality and decent price.

It's the same valve, from the same manufacturer as the Hurst unit--the switch and pilot lamp are also identical...

I believe UPR's is a relabeled Hurst... I would like to put one on my car soon as well, but it seems like kinda a pain in the azz. I don't mind the "3 feet" burnout as that is pretty simple, but would like to have some control on the starting line against rollout with a 5 spd.

I have absolutly no problems with running UPR products, quality is just fine. Im running their tubular a arms, coilovers, and caster camber plates and i cant say anything but good things about them.

So that means a hurt solenoid with a upr sticker on its poor quality? There tubular stuff is identical to qa1,gms, and a few others. I know plenty of people running their stuff without issue and yes im sure there has been failures but that goes for mm and griggs aswell.
