And your statement about the Cobra being "better" is still very objective based on what the use of the car is going to be. If I needed a car with good power, great brakes and suspenion and had to pick between those two, the Saleen wins hands down. Same with the 2.6L vs the 2.8L comment. If I need a blower to put me above XXX hp for the lowest price and the 2.6L does it - that makes the smaller blower BETTER.

Stop being so mad that I don't think the 03/04 Cobra isn't the end all of Mustangs.
You saying the cheaper blower to get the power doesn't make sense when a Saleen is more expensive than a Cobra and it is much cheaper and easier to get XXX hp out of a Cobra

Your talking to the wrong guy.. please quote where I said Saleen op is talking about isn't s/c'd.. and im not a cobra nut hugger. Hince my car..

Also a Saleen vs a cobra at an open track event cobra wins every time. Hands down.

Also bigger blower = more power with less stress/ boost.

You need to go to more open track events if you think that is true. Haha.

my intentions w/this car is basically a weekender if it's nice out. i'll run it a little, but it won't be a track car. mild mods, nothing extreme(eventually cams and a KB). it doesn't have to be a dyno monster, but it better not get walked on if some ricer or a GTO tries to roll up on me...

I found an orange termi for sale nearby(pullied, intake, full exhaust) and i'm going to check it out this weekend...it'll probably seal the deal.

I have exactly that and hate it. If anyone wants to trade I'd be all for it

For looks = Saleen hands down
For everything else = Cobra hands down

I'd rather own a 450hp Saleen than a 550hp Cobra though..
