The one guy i was talking to had a full bolt on 2002 SS Camaro the put down 348 rwhp, and he said it ran 12.7 @ 110 with a 1.9 60ft. That was on 18" rims with Nitto dr's IIRC.

That was at Milan BTW.

Interesting...I think you could pull close to those numbers, minus the trap speed, with your car N/A man. Just saying.

..with a better 60 ft, but that Camaro also has a little more potential. A 110 trap should be ideally low 12's? With a 1.7 60 ft?

Sure i think my car could possibly do a 12.9 as it sits now (i basically have stock suspension and full weight) but i would probably need a 1.7' ish 60ft. to do so. Also i would probably trap about 106 mph with my setup.

cough DRIVER cough...
348rwhp would/should trap higher than 110mph and quicker than 12.7.

My 280rwhp Mustang ran a best on motor of 12.5@110.5mph. His car should pretty easily run in the lower 12's.

Where do you guys run and what DAs are common around there? Maybe it is atmospheric conditions that are making a huge difference...

I am NOT a bowtie boy, but I just laugh at all of the haters on here that simpy can't admit that the LS motor is far superior to our 4.6s. I am a FORD guy through and through, but truth be told, the LS is very sweet platform to mod.

Have you posted pictures of this car yet? I saw a pretty sweet looking red and black camaro the other day and I didn't think it looked a bit like a catfish. I think it all depends on the hood and body kit they put on it. Some of them just look awful, but when done tastefully they can be very attractive rides.

what about a C5 Z06? ive seen a few for sale around here in the $15K range, and thats the ONLY LSx car id ever drive...

all the guys seem to be moving on to the LS2/3 powered versions, but i think the C5 is the best looking 'vette ever... just my .02

or if money's as issue could always grab an FRC C5 vette too, same body as the Z06 (i HATE the glassback version, the "notch" looks sooooooo much better IMO)
