Default question on bullet cam

when i purchased the car it already came with a set of cams, looking at the specs, can i run a vortech supercharger with them?. i have read several threads on cams but am still confused, any help will be appreciated. the car made 265rwhp/ 285rwtq on a mustang dyno on a hot humid day.

prolly not, LSA is 109 which is really narrow, power adders like a wider angle like 112+

those look like stg 2 NPI cams from MHS btw

they are stage 2 npi cams, am currently running a 125 nitrous shot with no problem but am tire of the filling of the bottle so i thought i run a s/c instead.

agreed, they have decent duration but lsa is not there at all

I run custom grind bullet racing cams with my setup and specs are: 533/571 lift, 220/230 duration, 114 lsa

You CAN run a supercharger, but there would be better cams out there if you were to buy a different set.

well of course you can always throw a blower on and just see where the cars at, but if you want to take full potential of your investment in a blower...get new cams

I'm a huge fan and believer in custom grinds....off the shelfs will work good but to get a cam ground to your exact specs for the same price seems to be a no brainer to me, but off the shelf I would probably just give CMS or MHS a call and see what they recommend. On a stock internal setup with stock pistons/valves they will probably just recommend a stage 1 blower grind
