I just got an SCT for it and the place I got it at uploaded a custom tune for it.The car does actually feel a little stronger.I guess they reflashed the ecu to 96 cobra specs and added the few mods I have done to it.If that's what a custom tune is.Made an appt for next Wed at DGR to get it tuned. So then I will find out what I end up with.It was prob just as easy to have my ecu reflashed as it was to swap in a cobra ecu.I knew modding my car was going to be expensive but The First National Bank of Jon is just about empty.LOL

I will definately update this thread or start a new one.Once I get her tuned and wring out every last hp she has then I might finally have my gears installed.Almost everything I've done to my car since I got it has been for performance.

when i dynoed on a brand new dynojet my tach read a bit lower than the software, but only like 300 rpms. i did a 4v swap last year with "C" heads, hooker LT's, JLT ram air, and a sct canned tune. i made 323hp and 323tq. i set my rev limiter to 6700rpms and that was where we stopped the dyno pulls. i made peak hp at 6100rpm and peak tq at 5500rpm. with a real dyno tune i expect you could make 300/300

Moon do you mean redline for the tune they loaded in my car.The new rev limit will be 7500.Thats what it called for when they did the reflash.I shoulda had him turn it down.Doesn't really matter bc I doubt I'll ever take it above 6500-6800.I really don't need to damage anything.Car does feel stronger now since the ecu is programmed to run the 4v.

You should be able to adjust it yourself, bruh. Turn it down to 7050.

Stupid 4v's pull like turbo cars. You can feel it push your in your seat harder and harder as the rpm's rise.

Go get her on a dyno brostiff!

Ever since i did 4.10s i bounce of that rev limiter all the time having a hard time adjusting mentally because i dont stare at the tach and use to ignoring the shift lite for a few seconds
