I'm gonna be DD'ing this car in winter as well. I was going to buy some cheap V6 rims locally or something and get some cheap snow tires and go from there. I've got previous snow with RWD experience from my last car which was an '02 Mercedes E320 but that thing was a heavy tank.

Is rust an issue for these cars? I will be rinsing it off as often as I can in the winter.

the biggest spot i found was behind the rear tires. there will be what look to be frame rails and the snow and salt pack in there and rust out. if you pull up your trunk mat you will see some rubber grommets where this "rail" is and if u poke it with a screwdriver u can tell real quick of your rusting out or not. that's what happened to mine. and my brothers, and a friends... etc. just make sure to wash that area out real good. look qt it before winter so you know where to direct the spray nozel to clean it out
