There is nothing wrong with removing the ISO's. There are so many things on vehicles "that are there for a reason" as people keep pointing out and that is a stupid argument. any NVH (Noise,vibration,harshness) part can be removed with little or no effect. And the ISO's are a NVH part
My ISOs are out as well and I am running sportlines. Car is pretty low, less than a coke-can worth of clearance between the cats and the ground. Lots of entrances to shopping centers around here I cannot get in and out of.

And I would cut the front if they are a linear rate. Cut 1/4 coil and take out the isos and reinstall. You won't even notice a difference in ride quality and it WILL lower...
