well yeah, 6500 is nothing crazy. No, the JT/YSI have about a 5,000 impellar speed difference. The YSI is in its own league. I did the same thing basically, first get the car on the dyno to see how high your taking it, then at that point you can figure out how much he is overspinning the S trim, what blower will be in its efficiency range, and what pulleys to go with. But if he is ever considering JT/YSI, a stock crank pulley wont cut it. Good luck with it all, should be a fun ride when its all set up
it's not close to done yet. well, the car is, just no ysi yet. due to budget constraints he's keeping his v2 s-trim on for now, his tune date is set up for march 13. so it'll be a 4.75 with stage 3 mmr heads/cams eddy intake, gp 1000 fuel setup, 80lb injectors, full exhaust, 2.8 rr 8rib pulley with stock size crank pulley, intercooled, and instead of upping to the ysi he invested in some n20 so we're hoping for 500ish on boost and 650 on spray. only thing that's kind of limiting him is the headunit and pump gas.
currently an SI, but will be in the market for JT/YSI after all the shows/meets this year. I'm pushing 18psi out of my SI and on colder nights upwards of 20psi and its just WAY overspinning it at this point
