Default PICTURES OF YOUR GT'S WITH MACH 1 SPRINGS

Has anyone put Mach 1 springs in their cars instead of buying a lowering kit because they were cheaper? i got some springs for free and i am currently debating using them vs. the H&R Super Sports. i want to see how the Mach springs look, and i cant find a picture anywhere. Anybody who has done this and can post pictures, i would appreciate it. Thanks

I don't have Mach 1 springs, but i can tell you this: When i had my Eibach Pro Kit, my ride sat almost exactly the same height as my neighbors stock 03 Mach 1. I hated this, so a few months ago i went with the H&R Super Sports, and am happy i did. The H&R's look 1000 times better IMO.

The little drop you will see is nothing. Go with the H&R SS

This, or, if you can afford it, go with coil-overs. Coil-overs FTW!

Thanks guys, tomorrow i am going to put the mach springs in, like you said, just to set apart from all the other mustangs around, but i am going with the H&R's in the future. I just had to work my mind around it. Thanks again

If you already have the MACH1 springs, install them and see what you think. The spring rates are WAY BETTER than on a stock GT. You can increase the drop a little more by leaving the spring isos off. A little trim off the front springs may also improve the looks a bit more as well.

Although I swapped mine out for H&R Race springs, I did like the way my Bullitt rode and handled with the stock springs. I was just looking to take the handling up another notch.

So, i put the mach springs in, way easier than i was thinking it would be. only took about 3 hours for all 4, and the ride is WAY better. i left the isos out on all 4 and the rear lowered about to where i wanted it, but the front didnt change as much as i thought it would. So i am once again about to tear the front end apart and cut half a coil off. Well see how it looks after that. thanks for all your help, and H&R SS springs will be in the future, just did this to be a little different than all the other mustangs in SOCAL

Good deal man!
I think once you trim a little off the front springs, you will be happy you installed these. It won't drop the ride height a lot, but it will drop it a bit and the handling will be noticably improved.
Let us know how it turns out with some trimmed off the fronts.

So i trimmed the springs down half a coil, it dropped the front about 3/4 to 1", i didnt measure fender height, but from the looks of it it looks way better, if i could figure out how to upload pictures i would put one up, does anyone know how?
