Anybody Running Strange 10-Ways daily? && Update on Progress for My Car
#21
Just checked out summit and strange's websites and they say that these dampers are application specific, which if that's the case then they only make struts for mustangs. But they are intended for cars using stock ride height.
This is my story though. I used these with pro kit springs and upr shark c/c plates. The looser the setting, the more noise. Sounded like marbles rattling in a can at each damper mount. And I've actually had a lot of people, other than those in this thread, agree with my consensus of noise. Lots of marbles. I agree for the money they are some of the better racing oriented dampers for drag racing. I've never seen them used on a road racing car or auto-x car(thus far...can only ever reach so much of the interwebz), and from my experience I do not think that their valving would be that great for that sort of racing. Could be wrong, but this is my subjective point of view.
