Idk. I bought these HID's a while ago (3+ years) and they still work great. I just went to switch bulbs with a buddy and when i put his bulb in, my fuse blew. So i'm hoping that everything's alright. It could've just been a freak incident and it may not happen again? Who knows. Bc i'll flip a sh*t if i pop a fuse everytime i turn on my lights!

But it's never happened in 3.5 years and now it happened so it might be something with his bulb drawing power to my HID but i really don't think the bulb will really effect this one. I think it's the ballast.

I'm just going to get a new fuse and try again. Sh*t happens sometimes ya know? We're changing bulbs in 30 minutes so you'll all know real soon if it worked or if i'm placing my order for HID's TONIGHT hahaha

Well i put in the 6k and both fuses blew but i replaced the fuses and turned the lights on and off several times and everything's fine!

Can't wait to drive it around tonight and see if it made a big difference... Hopefully the lighting improves slightly bc that's all i need! It'll save me $45 instead of having to buy 55w.

I'll run it like this for a while and see if i have anymore fuse problems...

anyone know where to get some damn decent somewhat reasonably affordable projector lights? the ones on Americanmuscle.com are not HID suitable...

I've ordered several sets from DDM. Shipping seemed reasonable considering the kits come from China on 'ground' priority.

Projectors? I don't think a 'reasonable' set is made for mustangs. You can always attempt a retrofit.

Personally, I don't care if people think my lights are too bright and/or obnoxious.

Being a motorcyclist, I fully promote being obnoxiously bright and obnoxiously loud. Anything you can do (within the scope of the law) to stand out to other motorists is fine by me.

Any time my car is on the road my lights are on. You don't like it? Tough shat buddy.

Flash me, flip me off, yell at me, glare at me, or write down my license plate. Sweet, at least you know I'm on the road too.
