My buddy had a procharged 2002 after a month his car was doing EXACTLY what yours is doing, took the blower off and sold it. Then the car shifted fine WOT and then he sold the car to some poor guy. Stock auto just cant handle the torque.

sorry, but they are actually out of PA, not NJ,which it looks like youre from PA. The name of the shop is Pro Shift Transmission , Beaver Meadows, PA (570) 455-5510

Keep in mind I have a more radical setup than you do, so I dont need as high as a stall. I'm running 28" tires too with an overdrive crank pulley. I asked Darrin the same thing when he set me up with a 3500 stall and asked why not higher and he said the more hp/tq you make the less of a stall you need in these blower modular motors. What we did, was look at my dyno, seen where I was making full boost, and had the stall speed a few hundre rpms before that. That way, the converter flashes, and you are instantly in full boost, which is what you want. You dont want a stall where it flashed, and then you still have to build boost, ya know? You are probably making boost a little later than I am, which is why he is going with a higher flash speed

exactly people act like they are bullit proof, which thye may be stock but mines not lasting long with the blower.

And Uber did you friend ever figure out what was wrong with it before he sold it?

My fear is if i build a tranny and put it in the it does the same exact thing it is now because of it being electrical instead of mechanical, but Darrin did say that it was my forward clutch going out so i guess there is no getting around that. And Darrin was 100% he said that that was the problem because he has seen it many times he said. He also told me the 02-04 trannys could handle more power then the 99-01 4r's

Nah, pretty sure the trans coundlnt handle all the power/tq to shift fast enough cause it was getting ready to take a crap. Honestly how much do you drive you car? Because if you don't mind going with a 3 speed, you can get a built c4 with a warranty to handle 1000rwhp for 2500ish and they make adapters to mate to the 4.6

1500$ c4 rated for 750hp.

If I ever decide to go auto thats what I'm going with, no doubt in my mind.
Another 500$ for the bellhousing for c4 to modular ford
