The main difference came down to price, where the UPR LCA was the clear winner. And if it breaks (haven't heard of any problems with LCAs) there is always a lifetime guarantee.
I entirely know the reasons for choosing aftermarket suspension parts, I had the full mm max grip kit before I decided to go with an IRS setup. The problem isn't with their warranties/guarantees but with the fact that there have been several cases of suspension components breaking under light to heavy use. I do not know if UPR has addressed all issues with failed components but I sincerely hope you do not have to experience it (almost any company has failure rates, just have heard UPR mentioned more than most companies, with the exception of GMS).

Sorry if it seems like I'm bashing UPR, I am all for aftermarket companies, they've created a lot of nice parts and have a pretty successful drag racing team/sponsored vehicles.

I think you've done a great job on choosing parts, was just wondering your reasoning behind it.

I'll be sure to post a review after putting them through some thorough usage (track and 1/4).

Honestly, not a whole lot, a cobra owner looking to go SRA might give you a couple hundred but they can easily swap+get a little cash from swapping with someone looking to switch to an IRS setup. LCA's wont get you much as most informed sn95 owners know they're not ideal, same with the rest.

The switch was due to me not being satisfied with the way the car rode on the road. The grip, although very close, was increased slightly due to the car feeling smoother over imperfections and giving me a slight bump in confidence.

I havent been to an hpde event since the IRS though so I can't really say for sure and since then I've driven considerably less since I've been riding more. Been thinking of getting back into driving though, so may try and make it to an hpde sometime soon.

Just put the new Sumi ZIIIs (275/40/17) on the car, love the increase in grip (inc cornering).

I felt a pretty good wheel wobble on the passenger side when switching the tires, so I'm going to replace the wheel bearings (and hub assembly) next week. Came out to around $200 for everything (including buying a torque wrench and 36mm socket).

My appointment for the 3.73s, LCAs, Axles/LSD & FLSFC install is March 31st, can't wait. Grand total came out just under $600 for the whole install.

So my throwout bearing is nearing it's final days (and squeaking like a ****). I plan on doing the clutch while I'm in there, seeing as the stock clutch has 115k miles on it.

End game on the car most likely includes a V3, but nothing over too crazy (400HP/425Ft-lbs) so I'm looking at the HDX clutch. It's rated at 450HP (strange bc the clutch should really be rated in ft-lbs) but from the reviews, it should hold fine. Thoughts? Any preference between the two quadrants? I've heard the SR cable is a POS, so I'm sticking with the Steeda cable.

Transmission:
(To be replaced whenever the old one wears out)

- RAM HDX Clutch (http://www.americanmuscle.com/ram-hd...45-clutch.html)
- FRPP Steel Flywheel (http://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-s...604-8bolt.html)
- FRPP Bolt & Dowel Kit (http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts...tKeyField=8457)
- FRPP Throwout Bearing (http://www.americanmuscle.com/ford-t...ring-7904.html)
- FRPP Pilot Bearing (http://www.americanmuscle.com/ford-p...ing-96102.html)
- Steeda Adjustable Clutch Cable (http://www.americanmuscle.com/stadclca96.html)
- Steeda Quick Release Clutch Quadrant (http://www.americanmuscle.com/stqureclqu.html)
or
- SR Performance Double Hook Quadrant (http://www.americanmuscle.com/stdohoqu.html)
- SR Performance Firewall Cable Adjuster (http://www.americanmuscle.com/stficaad.html)
The upgrade comes in around $650-$700 if I do the install. How much should I expect a shop to charge if I decide to go that route?

DO NOT get an adjustable cable if you're gonna put on a firewall adjuster and new quadrant. There are many issues associated with this that can be easily discovered thru very little research. If you insist on getting a new cable, look into one as close to stock as possible.

For the non-adjustable cable I should look at FRPP or an OEM one from the dealer then?
