Default Blower cams SHM 2

Im looking to eventually pick up a set of blower cams and right now someone has approaced me with a pair of slightly Sean Hyland Motorsports stage 2 blower cam. I cant seem to find anyone who has run this cam or know of anyone who is running this cam. Does anyone on here have any info about the gains/reputation of sean hylands blower cams. But does anyone have any good or bad info about these cams. Right now my choices are the used shm stage 2 with used beehive springs for $400, MHS stage 1 blower cams, or CMS stage 1 blower cams. any info will be appreciated thanks!

From what I have read SHM 2v cams are made from new blanks but the 4vs are typically regrinds.

They are sorta old school. SHM was a big name like 10 years ago but he doesn't really have much of a following these days. What are a new set of cams? $600? Might not be a horrible idea to just bite the bullet and go new considering it's not a massive savings.

I forgot how cheap 2V cams were. Rock, are you intercooled? May want to consider that over cams. As no matter how badass your cams are if the ECU is having to pull ignition timing due heat it kinda wont matter even if you had jesus cams. Food for thought.

Nah im not intercooled yet and i was kinda torn between blower cams and getting intercooled and the Only reason i was gonna consider putting off the intercooler til later bc of the weather changing a bit now. But someone else also told me that it may be a better option to just intercool it step down a pulley size or two and leave it alone. Since im not chasing huge numbers just looking for a more efficient setup for whenever I do drive it and trying to got to the low to mid 400rwhp range. So it may just be my best bet to go ahead and just intercool it first and worry/consider doing cams later on next year if it comes to that. But thanks for that and you're right.

like said I would pass on those cams....its actually like a $400 savings because you are getting springs with those cams as well...but I would get a set specifically designed for your setup and like also said maybe consider an i/c before anything

No problem. I will throw those out of consideration and just go for the intercooler. And get either mhs or cms blower cams sometime before next summer. Appreciate that.
