Default new idea for motor build... lemme know what you think

so i was laying awake last night and came up with this brilliant idea, no clue if it will work but lets see what the masses think:

5.0 shortblock out of an 11-12 mustang (junkyard)

TFS 44cc heads (should be like 11.5:1 compression)

MHS cams (maybe stg. 3?)

Vic 4.6 intake

6061 elbow

75mm TB

longtubes, OR X, whatever CB sounds good

my 30# squirters

hopefully make some serious power and rev out to 7500

so, opinions?

I think that'd be sick! Good base w/ the 5.0 block and def a good setup w/ the MHS cams and the TFS heads. Would 38cc heads give you higher compression? Are you wantin to stay N/A??

I bet that thing would sound awesome! Wouldn't a 5.0 out of a f-150 work too?

yeah going to stay NA, i think the CR is gonna be up there cause those engines stock are like 11:1 with a 50cc head so ill have to do some math or just mill the chambers out a little bit...

yeah, but i want the alum block since im a greedy SOB when it comes to weight lol

i need to find out what the dish is in the pistons to see which heads to get, i think this thing is gonna be INSANE if i get it built...

I definitely think this is an interesting idea. How much power do you think it would churn out?

id like to see 400rwhp @7500rpm but id be happy with more than 370 honestly...

car weighs like 3100lbs so itll be a fun ride, especially with the road race suspension

My question is what would be the point of this? If you get a 5.0 shortblock out of a junkyard car, you could just keep the entire longblock. The 4v heads are going to absolutely destroy the trickflow heads.

What he said^^^. take the whole 5.0 package that can make 450+ with just a tune over the base GT.

weight savings thats the only reason im going 2V

plus i can flip the Coyote heads for a pretty penny im sure theyll be gone in a matter of minutes...

*edit*

another plus is with the 2V heads theres a little more "room" in the engine bay, and i also like the KISS concept...

anyone that wants to hate... ill gladly accept offers for the Coyote heads once i have them
