SHOULD I GET RID OF MY 02 GT CONV FOR SWEET 08 GT?
alright guys found this sweet 2008 gt coupe. performance white with chamois interior. i have always wanted this interior but so so hard to find. only 32k miles a little high cause my 02 gt conv has 38k on it but it looks so nice. ford certified pre owned, every option but nav and shaker 1000 about $32,545 new. sharp looking car but my 02 gt conv was $29k new not sure its worth getting rid of mine for it! what you guys think?

High mileage with 32K? HAHAHA it's 5 years old thats less than 7K per year. That's nothing at all. I am assuming your bought your new? It comes done to several things 1). Do you still owe on your car? 2). Can you afford this one w/o taking a loan? Because outside of the color, really there isn't anything special. But if that's what your after and what's important to you than I say do it; only live once. (Im partial to the new edge body style especially when there's no performance gain of an upgrade)....22K on it is a little high asking price for a stock auto 4.6 especially since its winter. No way there moving it for that price before spring. That price during spring/summer even fall maybe. But 22K? When you can get the new 2012 v6 with more features/same power/better gas mileage/lower mileage for about a grand or two more. I don't think so.

I know 32k isn't high but almost as much mine and I am not the original owner of mine. Also mine isn't paid off but I can afford to get the 2008 if I want too. I hear ya too that 22k is high!! I wasn't planning on paying that for it. I work at a dealer and going to check tomorrow and see if they will wholesale it. If its 19k I'll really be thinking about it pending an inspection by me. Need to look at engine, has to have floor mats, window sticker two keys etc etc has to have all that like my 02. Looked at it in person and its not perfect but.close. Couple rims need work and bumper has a few chips. I'm picky if you can't tell lol but it does have potential for under20k and I don't want a v6 lol I have to have that v8 sound! I'm going to see tomorrow what I can get out of mine and how much that dealer will move on price on the 08. Then we'll go from now. If it was flawless condition I would be doing everything to get it but its not quite and that interior is jaw dropping and you rarely see it!

both
wait for a 2011-2012 if youre dead set on an S197 (then never come back to this section) or just stick it out with the New Edge...
and the only reason im even considering letting you get away with this is i HATE verts personally so id let one go for a hard top, just not a 3V motor, Coyote or GTFO...

no. my dad just ordered a 2012 GT with tons of extras of an msrp of 36k,( fresh of the line) so walk out is going to be around 33k after negotiating. save for a 11-12 GT and take quote to dealer after dealer. dont let'em run that credit!

2013 GT or bust; loving what FORD added to the featured add-ons this year.
