You cont get any blower though. It needs to be atleast counter-clockwise rotation, and be a straight outlet. ( I think thats what it is called).

v3's are self contained so you dont have to tap the oil pan, so i would guess if you switched a v1/v2 for a v3 you're gonna have to do something about that

Would it be better to do the v3?Pros vs Cons?Cost?
I havent done the exhaust yet so is there anything that should be considered when doing s/c setup, like 2.5 or 3"?

I just got mine put together in the end. I bought most of the kit from someone used for $1400, but had to buy pieces here and there that ended up costing me about another $200 or so in the end. Was a pain to realize oh great I don't have this piece, let me order that and wait.

yeah you can always just plug your pan and wa la. Awesome write up, should help a lot of guys out who are interested in going s/c'd! And yes, ccw straight discharge vortech blowers will use the same bracket (V1, V2, V7)

Do some searching. There are a lot of good deals out there. I found my polished V2 for $875. After that it was all down hill.

I am interested in this as well. It doesn't get quite as cold here though...
