Dont own a tig, or i wouldve done that. We had talks about it as well. He didnt seem to mind, i went as far as asking him for his pointers on things he would "like to see" and we did what we could to make him happy personally.

Not to sound cocky, because im anything but, but i honestly feel like i will have no problem getting the 8.50 cert. Atleast by the impressions i was getting from him.

When this cage comes out, which im sure it will, it'll be moly and tig'd.

Your main Hoop looks a little far forward hope you're not tall.

Hope you don't think I'm sharp shooting you but you said this is your first so I thought I'd throw out some advice.

No sir, i dont think that at all, it is def my first, lol, and i can use all the help i can get. lol.

Its probably about 3.5" off the rear seat panel area.

I am tall, 6'3"ish. We are thinking the seat is going to all but sit on the floor.

My height is the reason we stuffed the main hoop withing a 1/4" of touching the roof.

This car the hoop was forward to much and a real bitch to get in and out

This one was nice and comfy

Make sure you have 3" from the top of your helmet to the roof to be legal.

You are right, lol. It is hard to get in and out of, i will no lie.

It was very tough for me to work up the courage to even cut the floor for the TTF connectors, lol.

I love that bottom pic, is that 25.5? i think after this year, or next, after i get more acustom to doing custom work and bending, and welding, etc, i would love to rip it all out and do a 25.x. Just seems right and far safer, etc.

But yes, you are right, it is tough to get in and out, im hoping the removable steering wheel will really help with that, lol

Great pics too man, very clean!
