what to buy my car for christmas? what would you get

I'd go for the gears too, though I heard 4.10s are nice as well...
however the gear installation is very costly as far as i know, takes several hours + labor cost.. i got an estimate around where i live and it came out to around ~450 just to install. A lot for me anyway... but total it'd be less than those tires to buy and get installed.

2. MAC longtubes and a VRS catted X
3. forget those, Forza's or GTFO...
4. 4.10's and never look back... dont even THINK about arguing this...
3.73's make you smile, 4.10's require a pants change...

This. 4.10s
There was a thread a long, long time ago (I can't find it, I've tried) about how 4.10s might improve your gas mileage as the engine, while operating at a higher RPM, doesn't have to work as hard and use up as much fuel... the technical guys were able to explain it a lot better than I can. I got over 300 miles/tank when I DD'd my mustang with 4.10s.

youll get eleventy billion opinions on the topic but for a daily driver that you beat on every now and then 3.73's are what you want. for an n/a 5 speed 2 valve its the best choice. sure 4.10's are going to be real seat glueing down low, but up top your not going to have anything.

having 4.10's or 3.73's affects you 1st gear ratio by less than 2 mph... there car just moves out quicker do to the better tq multiplication...
4.10's make a 250 rpm difference on the highways vs 3.73's.... ohhhhh boy...
and btw top speed in 4th gear at 5750 rpm = 104, if you rev out to 6000 (theyll do it all day long) its good for 108, youre not going to trap faster than 108 trust me...

I'm only at the track once every few months because of work. I haven't even ran this car but I'm not to interested on the 1/4 mile since I its my dd but... Idk. I don't want some piece of poo car taking me on the street at a roll and think he's cool
