Default Worth Installing 03 Mach1 intake manifold on 99GT?

I Searched and searched but i couldnt find anything on this, so if its an over asked question then i am sorry.. I have a 99GT 2v Windsor motor, and was wondering if Is worth swapping out my plastic PI intake for the 03 Mach1 Aluminum intake? or Any aluminum intake for that matter? i do have the stock heads with the 270ah cams, upgraded springs, 75mm tb/plenum, 80mm Maf, 24lb injectors, shorty headers, underdrive pulleys, and roller rockers. I Appreciate your input, Thank you.

you dont see posts on this because it's not possible. none of the 4v intakes will work on the 2v heads. at your current level the stock intakes fine and you wont pick up enough power to justify the high costs of all the intakes. You might pick up 5-10 hp with a trickflow or bullitt intake, but those cost in around 700+.

With stock head mach one intake wont fit a 2v, honestly a intake isnt worth it until you have a built motor and some form of F/I to spin your car to 7k rpm, i dont have a intake yet still stocker

Yea, as others have said, its probably not worth it...and this is coming from someone that just spent 1k on a edelbrock victor JR setup.

And justin got great results out of his intake, but thats because he has a blower, if your N/A its pointless

Even then, it really didnt start making more power till 4500 rpms and I have to rev the car well over 6k to really see the big gains.

Your better off saving for a used vortech or something

now the bullitt has an aluminum intake that is more efficiently designed than a normal GT's, but the whole setup will cost you $1k+ depending on where you get it. not worth it IMO but many people have done it. you could net similar performance results with a bigger "upper plenum" and throttle body, and those should cost you less than $400 (got my combo new for right at $200). also note i said "similar," the bullitt intake will still have a better power curve. i'm strictly talking dyno numbers here.
