Or find a 04 Cobra motor and throw a KB on it or Turbo

I'm a member on this other forum and this guy asked the same thing. The person in the write up I read said it costs almost 18k to do his swap when it was all done. It looks really sexy, but not for 18k for only 400hp. And I think 5.0 mag is doing a swap too and from what I heard they dropped 10k and are still not done. So it really does cost you a lot. If I had 18k to spend, I sure as heck wouldn't put it into my car. I would have bought a termi or just kept saving for a new 2011 if it was for a car.

At first glance, ok engine and engine harness but its the little things that really smack you.

Yea thats just insane for the cost especially when you compare it to a new built longblock and a centri blower combined. hell even 4.75ltr longblock from mmr for $4700 and a Complete v1 strim for $3014 thats $7714 there well less than half of the possible 18k. The coyote would be neat to have but seems a bit costly when its all said and done.

Got February edition of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords .
Project this month is putting a Coyote in a Fox body.

Haven't started reading it yet but wonder what they spent doing this swap.
OP maybe something you my want to check out even though it a Fox might give some ideas.

But then you have to look at the ***-end of an '11 Mustang, every time you approach it It is growing on me a tiny bit, but still a horrible sight to behold!

Lol, I was just saying it because of how bad of an idea it is to puy a coyote in a 98 gt.

For the money vs what you get, just build a motor and boost it or something

hell all youd have to do to a 2v is strap on a 2.1 or 2.8 kenne bell on top and your making 400 to the wheels. for what youll have in swapping the new 5.0 in youd be halfway to buying a new one. it just doesnt make sense to do unless your really after the "WOW" factor.

Ive heard of people spending 20k on the swap with some MM suspension parts and ****.

its not a cheap thing at all

For 10k you could probably make damn near 1000 hp with a t56 and a built turbo 2v.
