Question $1500 for Roush 2

Hey guys i probably asked the wrong question on my first post yesterday, what i really want to know is what would be the best upgrades for my 2002 roush 2 with a budget of $1500????
Of course i'm looking for more hp and torque, better 1/4 mile times and i don't want it to eat my wallet either...
Any suggestions....

is it basically stock? if your looking for the cheapest gains, i'd say nitrous would prolly yield you best bang for buck. or alternatively you could just do what most others do, gears 'n tune.

also depends on what you want. the 1/4 mile is different from auto-x which is from street...

the rear suspension requires some major attention, and if your more into twisties than anything else, i'd start with weld in subframes and lower control arms, your choice of springs if you can afford it into the budget.

edit: if you can install stuff yourself, it's a huge budget saver...

if you do decide on gears, you'll want a competent shop to install them. start shopping around now. the biggest chunk of change will be the install for them, places around here charge anywhere from $250-400

gears, FLSFC, and lower control arms would be a great start. a tune if you can swing it in somehow to finish it off.

Didn't quite reach the $1500.00 Supercharger build but I think I did pretty good. Could have even been cheaper if I hadn't bought the Power Pipe, Tial Bov and went with smaller injectors. Any questions guys let me know..

Before you start throwing money at these suggestions, a very important question needs to be asked.

What options did you car get from Roush?
Many got gears.
Full length sub frames and side exit exhaust don't work well.
The Roush S2 suspension isn't set up well for drag/launching, Roush designed them for street mixed with road course/handling. If you REALLY want to hook, you'll have to address that.
