^ I would run higher than 8.9:1, I think 9.5:1 - 10:1 is a great CR to be at, it wont feel like a slug down low and you wont need crazy boost for high power. Smart move with either meth or E85, I was condiering E85 but it just wasnt for me. I didnt like the fact that if I had to drive the vehicle to wherever I had to plan my trips around it. I will be getting tuned for meth this spring and am hoping to pick up 50+ hp, I'll let you know my results on a 50/50 mix if you are interested and considering of even going this route rather than e85

the higher cr wont be a problem with the boost, just as long as everyone else said, dont go crazy. when you build your new motor, just make sure you get blower cams, and file your rings for supercharged application. that's what i did with my 302 stroker i built. i'm running 10.2:1cr and next year i plan on putting a charger on. just start out around 6-8psi and go from there. you'll be amazed how much a couple lbs. will do for a properly built/setup motor. a buddy of mine runs a '90 t-bird supercoupe and was running 18-20psi through his charger on 7.8:1cr. just built a new motor last spring with 10.5:1cr and he's now only running around 8psi and it's a monster.

when you say 50/50 you mean half meth, half water right?

8lbs after a FMIC with a power pipe and plenty of fuel ..and plenty of fuel ..and plenty of fuel is perfectly fine as long as your tuner isn't a moron.

aeromotive 340lph, 60# injectors and Mike from Dez Racing is handling it.

This is why i dont wana go e85. But when I build my motor i plan to go 9.5:1-10:1 IMHO it is the perfect CR for a blown car that is a weekend warrior/ fun street car

I'll be bringing my ride to Dez for the meth tune. And yes, 50/50 meaning 50% meth 50% water.

That pump is a good choice. You know what modifications need made to make it work with the stock wiring?
