Default Just installed my Mgw shifter :)

It took me about two hours which isn't so bad considering this was the first thing I've ever installed for myself.

The hardest part was getting the old shifter out... that thing felt cemented to the transmission

I'm so happy with this shifter, I fell like the throws were cut in half! It also feels so much sturdier than the stock shifter. I would recommend the Mgw shifter to anyone

When I had my 5 speed I think my favorite mod was the shifter. Made a huge difference.

Congrats! I love my MGW, but I'm actually considering changing to something else, just to try something new

The MGW is a well made piece and provides a huge reduction in the length of the throws. Firm spring to ensure that you hit the 2-3 easily, and an adjustable arm that allows you to place the handle where you like it.

I strongly recommend the MGW to guys looking for a STS.

LOL I can't imagine swapping out my MGW because I'm borred and looking for something different. That money should be applied to another mod (suspension).

How is that shifter compared to the pro 5.0 shifter?
