Need some advise on brakes

What do you intend to do with the car?
Will it just be used for street duty or do you intend to use it for track events?
Good pads like HAWK HPS are excellent for street and a little track duty. New fluid and stainless lines are a great upgrade. The rotors need to be high quality (expensive) pieces if you want drilled rotors for hard track usage because cheaper units are more prone to cracking under high stress. Basic street usage can tolerate drilled rotors if the quality is decent. Slotted and dimpled rotors may be the best compromise for aesthetics and safety.
It is important to know what you intend to do with these new brakes.

The slots aren't to remove just gases. They're they're to remove any debris from the pad face, or old unusable pad material.
Slotted rotors will also decrease your pad life.
I run slotted only because that's what came with my cobra brake kit. If your dead set on drilled/slotted rotors, don't buy the cheap ones. Mine are powerslots by the way. So far have not warped, which makes me happy.

As most of the people here know, unless you are a professional hard core racer and can afford your own R&D team, Jazzer is the one to listen to when it comes to suspension and brakes on our cars. It may be 'free' advice, but it is well worth paying attention to.

If you go with MMR I would double check with them that those rotors are for street use, I was looking at the dual caliper aerospace rear kit but found out they track use only because of how thin the rotors are, they said they can make 1 drag pass then need to sit and cool to prevent warpage, obviously wounldn't work for a street car.

The thing about brake upgrades, is a VERY good one is quite inexpensive!
So long as ones calipers and rotors are in good shape, they do not need to be upgraded for DD or light open-track use. Heavy track use, is another matter and will not be going there today. IMO, it is just silly to NOT go with the good stuff on a car, for all but heavy track use. A set of Hawk HPS front pads are $85 at AM and rear pads are $70. A full set of SS lines are $170 at AM, but can be found for much less, if one looks for deals (check Roush website). Premium race-grade fluid is not much more than DOT5 and will perform better in extreme situations.
One NEVER plans an "extreme" situation and we have all either found ourselves in one, or WILL! Just peep Good braking tecnique (bottom of page) in Brakes Upgrade.

PS. Thanks, Flamingo
