Its lookin nice! Dont forget, your front end of your car is going to rise slightly do to the lighter engine. What are you setting your car up for? Drag racing? Twisties?

What are you going to do as far as exhaust? Lts?

yea, this would be like throwing flat tops in your current motor. you do need a stae 3 cam or bigger because of the compression. guys, read the thread i posted in the op.
yea the car is setup for twisties. there will be updates later tonight, with pics!

93-95 had the throttle body at the back, 96-98 got a revised intake manifold like the one you see in the pics.

Incorrect. The 93-96 had the old style intake, the 96 got the "Intech" badging, but nothing else; the 97-98 had the new style intake.

update:
so i can run my cams at 108 centerline without ptv contact, i done this:

i took a intake valve im not using and grind flats on the upper part of the stem

i used a hex quickdisconnect collor to drive the valve

i then cut out 80 grit sand paper with the sticky on the back side and attached it to the valve

i then installed the valve in a spare bare head, put the head onthe engine with the locating dails and put the quick disconnect on the valve. i used drill to spin the valve to make my own valve reliefs.

i repeated the process for each cylinder. i cut the reliefs .050-.058 deep

Nice! for each piston you did, did you bring it upto tdc first? Because if not, they will be off and wont do anything.

This would be a very bad idea with boost, the stock shortblock wont handle it with a compression that high.

Yeah 11-1 is high for boost. I just didnt know that the CR would be that high just by putting a 4v short block in
