First time I saw my '98 was Oct 2003 at a Roush event in Dallas. The day it went up for sale (year and a half ago) I had to have it. Paid the money, transport truck delivered it to Miami for me and I've been happy ever since.

Bought it because it's everything I could ever want in a Mustang right out of the box. M112 supercharged, T56 trans, full suspension and brakes matched perfectly, nice interior upgrades and steller looks. Being the only one like it ever made helps, too.

I had been bugging my wife for almost a year about picking up a daily driver so I would not have to keep driving my Silverado SS. So one day she noticed a flyer at work for a car for sale. I asked her what kind of car and she said, “I don’t know, it is black”, so I asked her to bring the flyer home to see what it was. When she got home that night she showed me the flyer and it was for a 2003 Ford Mustang GT with less than 17,000 miles. $7000 firm. I was like; damn I need to see this thing. So the next day I headed over to this guys house to check it out. It was sitting in his driveway and it looked really bad. It had not been driven for months. There were cats all over it, spider webs underneath and it was very badly sun damaged, but I figured shoot, I can clean that up. The next day I went back and took it for a spin and was sold. I told my wife I would like to get it and she says ok let’s see what we can do. She called me about an hour later and said, “go pick up your car I bought it”. I was like really? That night we took a drive out and picked it up. He had it all cleaned up, but it still needed a lot of work. Cats had been living in the engine bay and underneath were nests of spiders. I had to keep it out of the garage until I got the spider situation taken care of and then the work began to get it to where it is today. Best car I have ever owned.

Saving up for classic.
Money burning hole in pocket.
Saw '97 on a lot, test drove. (auto turd, so glad I didn't buy)
First page, first picture of Indiana Auto RV was this car from the same town where I live.
Dad test drove while I rode (no manual for me then)
Offered 9500 in Oct. '04 for the '99 with 48K miles and bone stock.
No goals, just wanted a fun car.

I've always wanted an 03/04 Cobra with a KB, since I couldn't afford one at the time, I started searching for another GT. I was only looking for a N/A GT for a good price to last me until I re-enlist and get my bonus this year when I stumbled upon mine completely by accident. Talked the guy down about 2 grand from his asking price and drove her home. I look at it as training wheels for the KB Cobra I'll be getting before too long. That being said, anybody wanna buy a V2 s/c'd 02 GT in the near future?

My first Mustang was a 2000 GT for $4400. Dirty engine bay, low on oil, nasty interior from pop/coffee stains and dog hairs. Terrible previous owner. Yet for some reason I bought it. Found out after I bought it that it was in a wreck and saw nitrous for a while. Worst $4400 I've ever spent.

I have always wanted a Mustang since my high school friend got a Boss 302 in 1970 (I believe). At the old age of 57, I decided I could afford to take the plunge and started looking around at new GT500's. Got quickly turned off by the prices. Then I saw a post here on MF that said "Please Help Me Sell My GT500". The car was a 2008 GT500 in WV and I had a daughter there at the time. I flew out to visit my daughter, went by to look at the car and put some money down to hold it. Drove back a month later and trailered it home. It had 1400 miles on it when I got it in July 2010, and I now have 9500 miles on it. I have had a blast with the car, I now think the prices for the new ones might not be that bad. Might consider a 2013 GT500!

I have always been a fan of muscle cars and growing up my dad had 60-70's camaros, novas trans am's and 442's . I think the mustang bug got me when I was 13-14 years old there was a guy in his 20's with a stout mercury capri and it sounded nasty and everywhere he went he would just blow the tires off of it . So when it was my turn to drive a lady next store was selling her sons 1982 mustang gt for 500 bucks I couldn't hand the money over fast enough. Lol

I had a '99 GT 35th Ann convertible about 10 years ago so I already knew I liked the car.

I decided I could afford a toy again. Searched nationwide for a black on black with a black top. The one I bought was the nicest for the cheapest for I picked it up. Luckily it was only 2 hours away for I didnt need to buy a plane ticket
