T-45 to Hanlon Motorsports 3650 swap?
#12
You just need to get a 3650 wiring harness. The plugs are different on them. It still plugs directly into the engine harness.
Both the t45 and the 3650 are a 10t input. So it will be the same.
The driveshaft will be the same aswell. They sell aluminum driveshafts at american muscle that say "96-04 gt" So it has to be the same. (Thatd be a really good upgrade while you are down there)
Im not too sure on the amount of power it can handle, but the t56 magnum is an AWESOME transmission. I just did a t56 magnum swap, and holy crap, the shifts are so nice!!!!!!!!!!

T-56 would be awesome but it doesn't makes sense for me on this car. There's a good chance I'll be throwing one into my 69 though Just have to get the time/money. Could be a while haha.

Sure, just pay me first haha. That will be up for sale as soon as I get this 3650 swapped in. The trans is in good shape and taken care of; fluid changed with Amsoil and everything so it's not something I would just give away. I have to offset at least some of what I'll be dumping in this new trans. I was going to run the t-45 for a while until my clutch goes but if you're interested maybe I'll swap everything early. The car was driven by a women for 9 years of it's life so the trans was really babied... car was garage kept too. Shoot me a PM though if you're interested.
