Would the nto5's be worth checking out over the humhos?

they would be good but only come with 5-6/32 of tread new so they wont last as long as some of them

if it was me from personal experience and customer reviews i would go with the bfgs or continental dw

When I was researching I heard they were very similar tires.

lol what, a few of us have mentioned these...

As I already said, I did a lot of research between them and the kumho xs's and they seemed to be very comparable.

I went with the XS's mostly because I dont like how the nt05s run thin lol

But ill try the nt05s next

Its all good, but yea, the Nt05s should definitely be one of the top tires here and they wont break the bank.

well after some more research and such i think i've narrowed it down to three, the kumho xs(still at the top of the list), kdw2's as backup and then the continentals are still hovering around, more i read about those the more I like them. I heard the nt05's are downright horrible in rain, the xs's aren't that much better but they are indeed better, and the kdw's and conti's are ok. I guess i should consider rain traction as well since the car will see it's fair share of rain driving.

The guy with the 700 rwhp white 2v ran nt05s on his car and said they were better in the rain than the 555r. I have ran my 315 nt05rs in the rain and they are not terrible you just have to be carefull and that is at 600rwhp. Your best bet for wet would be the continetial dw since that is what they were designed for. Dw= dry/wet
