Default Well it's home.

I have another thread in the 4.6L engine section but earlier this week I bought a 1996 GT as a father/son project. The car definitely has issues. It cranks but it blows a lot of oil and has an internal tick. The front driver's power seat, which is power, is stuck in a most unfortunate position. However, it is a very solid car with a decent paint job for a '96. Here is the pic. I had to drive nearly two hours one way to pick it up in Plymouth in the rain with an 'iffy' car dolly. I am GLAD to be home and done with it. Next, we start planning for the 2v to 4V conversion. I pick up the Mark VIII engine sometime this week.

looks good with the cobra hood! some better headlights would really help it out. is it just gonna be a stock markVIII build or something better?

Stock to begin with. We'll see from there. I don't want to put a ton of money into it so I figured a salvage yard VIII engine would be a good bang for the buck since the engine had to be replaced anyway.

You know, I just realized that the hood is not stock for the GT. Even better! Thanks for pointing that out.
