Default New gauges are in!!

I already put this in the tech section in the thread i already started but i figured i would put this in general discussion too. Swapping them wasnt bad at all, i was over hyping myself and it was really simple, after using some pliers to get the speedo sensor off that i was stuck on, i very carefully pried it off, switched the boards, swapped the led's over then put it back in, the gauges worked fine, BUT 3 of the led's didnt light up on the right side of the cluster so i pulled it out, took the led's out and put them back in to see if they werent in right, but they didnt light up so i took it out again and put the stock bulbs in. The cluster has a green hue but its mostly blue, idk if the led's were burnt out when i got them, (i dont think so), or if i just mishandled them which is probably what happened, so im gonna order new ones. So heres the pictures, its too bright to see any of them lit up so i can put more tonight. took me about an hour and a half or so, 20 minutes of which i was stuck on the speedo sensor of my original cluster, and another 20 having to take the cluster out to check the lights, really happy with it tho

Looks great man!

I put white faced gauges in my GT and I was like you at first.

Wasn't too bad of project though.

I think they really set the interior off. I put a white faced AC gauge panel in too to match. They all look great with my white Hurst shift **** on my black interior.

I got the SImco Silver series gauges, I also the silver faceplate overlay from UPR and it matched PERFECTLY! Really goes well with all my billet too.

I got this exact style. Chose because they look closest to the factory gauges. Mine is an overlay that lights up indiglow. Bought off eBay. There is a seperate switch that has a its own dimmer and you can choose between green or blue indiglow. Although, mine is also connected to factory dimmer switch.

White faced gauges really set off the interior. Looks good bro.
