I would be thrilled if I run sub 14s!! Im really shooting for mid 13s but we will see. Trueblue-Last year they advertised the same way with the tech inspections and all that bolgna but they never once looked at any cars. My buddy brought his race-only 75 camaro and they didnt look at anything. I'm pretty sure if you roll up in a street car they won't give it a second glance. If you change your mind about coming be sure and call ahead to be sure it doesnt get cancelled. They cancelled last week because there were puddles on the track.

I ended up running a 14.02 with a terrible 60ft time. My street tires killed me. Throw some d/r's on and I will be in the 13's for sure. I still didn't think it was too bad considering I am mostly stock. There was a 500hp 95 cobra and he was only running mid-high 12's.

Yes, DRs might knock 0.3-0.5 off your ET(if you were traction limited on your launches).

Really, what was the problem with the Cobra???

I was able to run a 11.74@120mph today with my 417 nitrous set-up. My NA(283rwhp) passes today were 12.7 and 12.8. There is no good excuse for a 500rwhp car running mid to high 12's.

Yea I dont know what was up with the cobra. He wasn't happy about it though. The best 60 ft time I had was a 2.22. Most of the time it was 2.35.

You always have to take a guy's power claims with a grain of salt as well. Just because he says it makes 500 at the wheels doesn't make it so. Either way, a Cobra should run better than mid to upper 12's. Maybe he needs the driver mod

Yea I was kinda figurin on the driver mod. He did say he was running 10 lbs of boost though. 500rwhp sounded highly unlikely but you never know. Either way he wasn't that far ahead of me considering his car. Also I beat my bro-in-laws z. His best run was a 14.28.
