I know audis aren't very reliable, but damn this car is just a beast!

You'll love the car! Try and find a mom and pop shop that specializes in German cars, they'll do you right.

Repairs shouldn't be that much if he does the work himself. I assume most people here do their own labor be it modding or repairing. My dad and I did all the labor on my '02 Mercedes when I owned it and if you buy parts online it's actually cheap, not like really really cheap but pretty good price.

autohausaz.com is where it's at for parts for European cars. Some Mercedes forums I frequented had tutorials for DIY repairs with pics and instructions all made by other members who needed repairs so I assume Audi forums would have the same. Check it out to make sure.
