I've owned Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki in the past. I've always liked Suzuki more than the others, so I wouldn't even consider another brand.

I figured I'd give y'all a little update. I took her to the track a couple days ago and went a 10.53@134mph, babying it out the hole (1.8 sixty foot)! I should be able to get low 1.6 sixty footers, that should bring me down to the 10.1-.teen range the next time out.

I may have a dozen passes on it so with some seat time and maybe if I borrow a set of ***** I hope to get it in the high 9's, without having to stretch it.

As always, the video...

Thanks Mitch. I'm a very defensive driver and don't act too stupid on public roads. Hell, I must be old because back in the day I'd wheelie through the gears, now I get nervous the second it starts to come up. That's why I strapped and lowered the bike for the track, to keep the front down. I always wear my jacket, gloves, helmet and long pants (jeans), even when it was 95* out.

What part of Texas are you in?

I've always loved bikes. I started racing them as a kid but stayed off them for over 20 years while raising a family. Then a couple of years ago I just did it. When and bought my dream bike. 2001 Honda RC51, 1000cc V-Twin.

Nice bike Jay, I like the RC51's. That thing is clean for an '01. What;s up with the Jardine sticker... with the Yoshi exhaust? Have you ever drag raced it?

No drag strip for me. I ride pretty aggressivly in the twisties but keep the speeds down too a reasonable level. I had grown up a little myself. lol
The decal package comes with the 2004 Nicky Hayden replical plastics. I grew up in Owensboro with the Haydens and raced with their Dad and Uncle. Great peoe than know how to have a good time. Always good to hear from you Mike.
