tcstanger is reaching for some serious numbers and he'll be switching to auto soon. I dont think he'll stop modding until he hits atleast 800. I believe he's planning on ysi with e85 and nitrous to get it there.

I have it listed in the classifieds. Want to get 1200. It's polished, mint condition and 2k miles on it since si build.

Now dual power adders seems realistic to get a auto 2v in that range

yeah i dont think high hp auto 2v's are impossible, just nobody puts enough money into them because they could just swap to a 4v.

I can't believe there aren't 4 digit drag racers out there with a built 2V/auto set up.

I was talking about a 2v motor, 281 based and auto. I just rarely see 2v autos any higher than 500's, maybe 600

I think that could be contributed largely due to the fact that high hp auto cars are usually Non locking converters which absolutely rape dyno figures.

Ive seen quite a few 600+ rwhp auto turbo 2vs around though...theres one on youtube running 9.70s at like 142 mph...think he said he made 630~ rwhp and 680 ft lb of tq.

I dont see many 600+ hp 2vs anywhere man, most people cant afford to drop that kind of money is what it really comes down too....the ones that do are far and in between and most likely go for an 03/04 cobra or something before they build a 2v.

Realistically I think I would have no problems laying down 600-700 rwhp if I wanted to run a bigger turbo and a good bit of boost through my work in progress setup but im worried about breaking my trans among other things.

yeah to step up to 600-700 hp you would need to upgrade a bit of things justin. I think where you plan on running it 550-600 is a safe call

Yea, exactly man....besides the fact that a stalled auto turbo car with 550-600 rwhp on the street will be down right nasty.

I really dont need any more power. lol

Even with the centri setup my car got moving in a hurry

This. You can make all the power you want, but if its not producing impressive times in whatever kind of racing you're doing, then it was all a waste.
