Default Our Mustang at Watkins Glen NY openong day.

Our Mustang club went up to Watkins Glen NY today for their opening day.
We went up and did some parade laps around the track. It was cold and foggy up there, but we had fun.

There were tons of Mustangs, mostly newer, but a few vintage ones were up there.

It was a blast, we were only supposed to do parade laps at around 55 MPH tops, but during the drivers meeting we were told to keep up together.

We were hitting 60-65 MPH through the S's as in my pic and we were hitting 85 MPH on the straight aways. They said we were supposed to keep up with each other, heck even the three pace cars were doing same speed and letting us go.

There was no passing though, the group before us were messing around passing and such and going a lot faster and were told not to come back.

I want to go back again and do it with an instructor.
