Default 01 Cobra Mods, need advice!

Was going to sell the Cobra but I decided to keep it, I was trying to get an evo because thats what I know imports.

What mods should I get for the following

Increase MPG's I would like 20-22 city, I know not to mash on the pedal

Weight loss - would like to get her down to 3200lbs without me in it without gutting out the car. "keep all the features or replace some parts"

Better Traction - Thinking 315's but need an idea of tire brands or decent size

More horsepower - want to be at 500hp hopefully on a stock motor "turbo or procharged?

What purposes are you building this car for?

Do you mean 500hp at tge crankshaft or the wheels? Theres quite a bit of difference. You likely wont get 20mpg on a 500rwhp car unless you cruise the entire tank of gas and get a mild cams.

A stock Cobra can't even get 20-22 city. How do you expect to do that with 500hp? Is this car a daily driver?

If you want better mpgs buy a honda. 500 rwhp is not a good idea on the stock short block. You are going to need forged internals once you get passed ~450rwhp.

I have to agree with everyone.
I don't think you will see that kind of mpg with a 500 hp car.
IDK how long the stock motor will last with that hp,bc as mentioned above the stock internals are only good to 450 rwhp.If you can settle for around 440 rwhp it would still be one heckuva fun car.

Maybe you should just sell it and get an evo.

I wasn't sure if I could get 20-22 city, I drove before and I got around 18 city without a tune on my car but so far I'm still learning and getting used to this still learning about the car
