Well guys i've almost got my license. My parents are ok with me getting a mustang. Anything in the 14-15 grand range. I really like the 2004 body styles but i'm really not sure. Any advice on which year model to get would be great! Looking to get some dencent HP out of it.

about a year or so ago. no rock chips, no swirl marks or scratches in the black paint. ive owned 4 mustangs i have a little idea of what mint is. I could find you 3 mach 1's in great shape for 11-13k right now if you'd like

To the op I would personally look for a decent mileage clean mach 1 or if you don't care about mileage a higher mileage completely stock 03-04 cobra is possible to find for between $13-16k

Hey check it out. If you get a Mach1 (and we're talking the one from this millenium!) or an 03/4 Cobra, you'll be really happy. Just take your time and find one in good condition and probably have it checked over by a mechanic.
Don't waste your time "learning" on a V6. You can get a fantastic ride that you'll look back on for many years after you finally break it racing with your friends. But you'll have a great time up until you do
And don't get yourself killed. These cars are powerful and will kill you if you drive like a dummy.
