How much oil are you loosing? Like a quart every 2k miles or something?

You could be getting some loss through your pcv too.

I have to put a quart roughly every 2k like you said.. Haven't checked the pcv. Had a tune up roughly 8000 miles ago, maybe they didn't change it??

Ok thanks uberstang. That part might have been replaced when I was having other problems with the car. Car smokes on start up a little only in very cold weather like when I lived in Reno this past winter. Anyways uberstang what is the part called so that I can order a new line?
