Plenty more out there! Actually the most common color I find for sale. Can always get another one.

I think you should buy 2 cars, living in a state where they get substantial snow accumulations.

I vote: Real clean, low mileage, rust free, 03-04 GT. The GT has a cheaper blue book value so you could get a nicer one for same price as a higher mileage Mach.

Car 2 should be any 1-2k beater that runs like a sewing machine. Something easy on gas, front wheel drive (they plow through snow like a freaking 4x4), and who cares about rust. Its a beater.

Park the Mustang during winters. This keeps mileage low. Get storage insurance, and drive the beater through the salt covered winter roads. Its what I do.

My beater is my wifes old 97 Dodge Grand Caravan I bought for her new back in 98. Since then, she put it through 5 accidents (last 3 I just collected insurance money and left damage), 2 kids, 180,xxx miles. Now its my, work commuter/fishing/trash hauling/you name it, beater that runs almost like the day I drove it home...lol

I just hate being seen in it. Thinking about tinting the windows...lol

I say get the Mach.

Is the GTO really that expensive for parts? It's one of my favorite cars and I'm always thinking about getting one since I've always wanted one but the high maintenance of it turns me away.

Theres a reason I don't own an IRS, don't wanna be like Rick and changing halfshafts every other trip to the drag strip. But I won't like his car rides great going over potholes on the street if thats your thing.

And without extensive work it also handles incredibly well. And yes, those are my things, thanks!

I like both cars . My wife having an 04 gto and me having the 04 mustang gt , but I know what you mean . Her car has corvette wheels 17's front 18's rear and before I knew of the rear spring sag her car ripped through 2 sets of 18's in 10,000 miles !!! 2 rear springs were 250 bucks. I paid 180.00 for all 4 of mine. lol Then her radiator just blew recently and guess what no one had one and the closest one was 3 days out. Bad steering wheel shake at 65 mph that I believe is from either bad strut mounts or radius rod bushings ??? And I love the one time use remotes ???? WTF Yeah so come on back

GTO's are really nice Cavaliers. If you like it stay with it.

If you like style as much as power go with your other options.
