Default Sold the Cobra, looking to replace it...

So right after the tr3650 swap in the 98 (and I mean like the DAY after I got everything fixed), I had a guy from Kentucky call and make me an offer on my Cobra. It having 123k miles on her, I figured selling it and getting a newer car wouldn't be a bad idea. So, here's my dellima. I'm in love with termis, but I don't know if the budget will allow for it. I'm looking to spend around 13-14k on the next car and I doubt I'll find a decent 03-04 Cobra for that price. The other option I have is going with a Mach 1. I'm actually working with a dealer now on a 03 DSG Mach with 52,000 miles and it's a single owner car. If that works out, that'd be great. However, if this doesn't work, what price range would I be looking at for a 60-70,000 mile termi that's in realatively good shape in the TN, AL, MS, and Georgia area?

I had no idea, so I figured asking on the ole mustang forums would be the best place to start!

Thanks guys!

It's possible to find a termi for cheap but it all comes down to luck honestly. Here in miami I've seen a perfect silver garage kept 04 cobra with 40 thousand miles go for 14k. It's a depressing moment when you're not the lucky sob with the cash in hand lol. If anything though that mach 1 wouldn't be too bad. Good luck though. Hopefully you get lucky and get a termi though.

The prices are usually different in every area. In my area terminators with around 40-50k miles go for around 21-23k. And with around 120k miles they go for around 17k. The lowest I've seen in my area was about $17k.

Man, that would be absolutely awesome to find one like that. Lol I would GLADLY fly down to Miami for it. If you happen to see another deal like that please let me know I'd much appreciate it.

Yeah, that's the problem I'm running in to around here, termi's are like a gold mine. To give an example there's one about 70 miles from the house that has 53k miles on it but needs the rear end completely rebuilt and the owner is still asking $18,500 for it. That's a litte crazy in my opinion.

That's true in some aspects. But, I really didn't want to spend any more money on the '98. It rolled over 123k miles which wouldn't bother me a bit if I planned on keeping it but I have always loved the 03-04 Cobra's and Mach's lol so it was time for the '98 to be sold. Around here you can have a car modded out the *** but people aren't going to pay more than retail for it so unless you're planning on keeping it then the more money you put in the more you're going to loose. Granted this isn't always the case but most of the time it is.
