I've been looking for a good deal on some bullitt wheels for a while now. Every time I'd see one come up for sale they'd want almost what a new set would cost. Today I stumbled upon some stock Bullitt wheels on craigslist. Within 30 minutes I was at their door picking them up! They are all in really good shape, no curb rash at all, just a couple tine nicks here and there from being driven.
I like the lighter silver on these a lot better than the darker anthracite wheels I was looking at on american muscle. Oh, as an added side bonus, lug nuts were included, and the wife didn't yell at me when I got home!

Well, looks like I'll be investing in some wheel spacers. Makes the deal slightly less good, but whatever. Anybody have any suggestions for wheels spacers? My reading tells me the stock offset is ether 26mm or 30mm, couldn't find a consensus. These are 45mm, so they'll tuck in about a half inch and probably rub. Maybe I'll get some 1" spacers and give it a wider stance.

I'm thinking about some 1.25" spacers. By my math, that'll push the bullitt wheels out about .65" more than the stock GT wheels with no spacer. Any horror stories about ebay spacers? Seems like there wouldn't be much to fail with a disc of aluminum.

Yep, I'm looking at these from ebay.
