Cool 4r70w or t3650

I have an 01 gt auto vert, I am modding it. I am back and forth on swapping it to a manual or not. I'm not bad at stick, haven't done too much driving with stick though. I thought if I swapped it, I could have fun with it and eventually learn tricks to race. What do you guys think? I think manual would be fun to drive. The reason im back and forth is everyone is saying properly set up the auto would kick ***, well then I would personally never be good at stick. If i was already good at stick and had an auto then sure I would set the auto up. I'm just really back and forth. looking for some good thoughts. Much appreciated guys

It's a lot of work and $$for just wanting to drive a car with a manual.

I would stick with the auto trans and make the most of it. J-mod, 3500 stall and some 4.10's would make it pretty "fun".

Or sell it and buy a manual trans car.
