the stang for a HCI + N20 LS1
Hey everyone! Some of you may remember me...it's been a while but i'm back and am in need of some feedback and opinions on what i'm about to do Okay here we go...bottom line is i'm STRONGLY considering doing a straight up trade with the stang for a 2000 SS Camaro with a Texas Speed HCI pacakage + a NX wet kit that's already installed but never used or been tuned for. My car has 55k and his 75k. His car has a full long tube exhaust. 4.10's, stock rear end (yeah I know lol) stock suspension, etc...It's a SLP car so it has those rims, emblems, etc...It's in pretty good shape (not quite as meticulous as mine) with no rust, or major dings, scratches, interior, etc... It has Texas Speed 5.3 heads (casting # 862) V2 Torque Cam, and Ls1 intake. With this combo he claims it pulled 460 rwhp. I need some opinions here lol...What do you all think?

Lol thanks for for the compliment Soldier, but in the scheme of things my car is really nothing spectacular So you guys think a straight up trade would not be worth it...really?? I have to be honest i'm really leaning towards it. I mean it's a bada$$ HCI LS1 with nitrous that's in great shape! I do appreciate any and all opinions though, so please keep them coming guys

^ he made mid 566 on his s trim and pump gas and will now be getting tuned for his ysi and e85.
but anyways, i'd drive the car and make sure it's a good runner. if it is and if it's a 6speed then go for it. if it's an auto i'd pass because then you not only have to swap the rear end you have to build the trans. but i've done a couple races lately with h/c/i ls's and they run neck and neck with my cobra(by the way while you were gone i got a cobra lol).
also, 460 seems a bit steep. from what i can tell the stock bottom end ls's with a good h/c setup make between 4-450 depending on setup. and i think you mean ls6 intake not ls1.

usually if something sounds too good to be true, you know what the outcome is. if the guy with the catfish is that pumped about trading straight up for your gt, that throws up a red flag to me if his car is so great
