Default Cowl hood

Hey guys, I'm wanting to get a 3 to 4 inch cowl hood and I'm just wandering if anybody knows of a good cheaper place to order it from. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I can't answer your question of, someplace to get it cheaper. Maybe find one used, forums, craigslist, E-bay. As with any body part, the cheaper you go then you start running into fit and finish problems. The money you save could be eaten up by body shop costs to get it to fit correctly, and get it to look nice painted. I went with the cervinis hood and I highly recommend.

"Cheap" and "hood" aren't good bed fellows. Cheap hoods take a TON of prep work (extra $$), don't always fit right, have excess flex (cracking paint) and will warp over time.

Thanks for the responses, I'm probably going to bite the bullet and buy from American muscle and spend the extra money on a nice hood. I guess being cheap would screw me in the long run lol

About a week I think. This place is in town so they dropped shipped it to my door. Came freight. One of the best hoods I have seen and I looked at a lot. Fit was dead on, but my body shop guy did take some time fitting the hood, but it was pretty easy. They painted it also. Other then that not one issue. I get a ton of compliments on it. Underneath is fully finished so you don't see any fiber.
