The fact that it was your dads is cool. Go with the 07 I hear they have bigger pu$$y magnets in them. My new edge just attracts the same old one.lol

Seriously though I would take the 07 unless yours was a terminator.

Sometimes when you build something just right so that it's everything you wanted it to be, you have to send it off to let someone else enjoy and move on to the next project. The 07 is definitely a nice improvement over the 02 and will give you more room to build it out. I like the New Edges, but given the choice I'd definitely take the opportunity to upgrade to the S197.

I'd get the S197 GT and do some small mods like CAI/tuner and maybe an axle back/midpipe combo and leave it at that...maybe a short throw shifter too.

Alright guys. Thanks. You really have helped in the decision making. I'm gonna have to go with the GT/CS. I plan on doing JLT CAI plus a bama tuner right off the bat. And later doing a shelby spoiler and maybe a few other small things. We'll see how it goes. I'll keep you guys posted!

Good choice sir. If it makes you feel any better, your 02 is def a really sweet car, you can be proud, but that 07 GT/CS is the logical choice. The next owner of your 02 will enjoy it as much as you have. Post more pics once you get a chance!

It's always been known that the stock 3:27 gears that the 2v has is the issue.. i can't say what stick is like as my car is auto but it has 4:56 rear gears and a street tune.. push that T/C off button and pray to god you can handle it is all i got to say about it.
