Unhappy I lost my love...

Soo... Its true. My wife and i wanted to get a new, more efficient car, and decided to go and buy one... I told her that if we did buy it, then i would sell my Sway (1996 Red GT Convertible ) to help pay for the new car. I mean it had a small tranny issue, but ran great (From Wichita Falls, TX to Little Rock, AR to Dallas, TX then finally to Abilene, TX without skipping a beat...) I'm hoping to get my hands on another, possibly 99-04, but i just want to get another mustang.. (Has to be a V-8 tho.) any ideas on where i could find one for not too pricey?

How pricey? As it happens, I have a red 1996 GT Convertible for sale.

hmm... on a 90s i'd probably not wanna spend more than 5,000 on one depending.. I paid 2 even for my Sway (named for Angelina Jolie in Gone in 60 seconds..) I mean I'm also Military out here at Dyess AFB, so even if i cant pay in full, i can do payments if someones patient enough... I mean i'm driving a 2012 Sonic right now... and my wife and i only have one car for both of us.... So we'd like another... and i'd love to have another vert.. got pics??

I am asking $3700 for mine, but I am open to offers. It's bone stock right down to the exhaust. 5 speed, laser red with black interior. Brand new tires, brand new top, brand new battery. It only has two flaws, the bumpers are oxidizing and the leather seats are shot. The padding underneath is in the best condition I have ever seen, but the leather is ripped beyond hope. Been daily driving it all year long and I wouldn't be selling it at all if I didn't have my Cobra.

How much do you have? I am a pretty motivated seller. I am not opposed to a layaway system either, I have done it before if it can be paid off in a couple of months.

i get paid on the 1st and the 15th of every month... I've got like 100 right now... I'm going to georgia next week, and will be back in dallas sunday morning... then i'll have a little more to spend, but not much.. Like i said, if you'd like payments, it'd be between 200-400 a month.... i hope that's not too low. and like i said, it's a steady check, so i wouldnt miss a payment..

Ouch. I am sorry, but I can't wait that long. I had to move fast on my Cobra, so I had to borrow money from my parents, which is why I am motivated to sell the GT. Again, I am sorry, if I didn't need the money I would have no problem with it. Good luck with the mustang hunt.

Look around for a 99-04 gt. If you keep looking, you'll find one with less then 150k miles for 5k or less.
