Default Power needed.... You tell me...

Hey guys,

I had been thinking about the next project for my car without thinking all the way through it. With the I/C 3.12 s/c setup I have, my power is maxed out due to the fuel pump (stock plus BAP). I was considering long tubes next - which would be useless without the fuel pump! Sooooo, what would you do in terms of the fuel pump knowing extra mods would be added as well. I need to replace the fuel sensor also, so eventually I need to man up and drop the tank. Looking for options and opinions. Since I'll be changing so much, I want to only tune it once so I'd like to plan my next few mods as a package.

Thanks gents.

How much dime are you looking to spend? That will be the biggest help for suggestions

Money is up in the air. Depends on what my options are. As reasonable as possible would be best!

you could always take the easy route and throw a svt or gt pump in with the bap or throw a dual pump hat in. I run the glenns performance sleeper system now and i am more than happy with it, but you're looking at a chunk of change for the full system.

Did u install all the parts? A mustangs tank is light when low on fuel, so I don't see why its an issue to put a bigger pump in.

i would look into going with dual pumps. either with a 03-04 cobra hat or aftermarket hat. or you could pick up a complete 03-04 cobra tank with better baffling and drop two gt supercar pumps in

I don't want to go overboard. I don't think I need a new tank... Dual pumps makes sense... what gives me best range per dollar? I doubt on my block and trans I'll be doing anything other than LT's on top of my current setup so I don't need tons of extra fuel availability

Just get rid of that boost a pump whatever you do. It's just a band aid in the first place.

BAP's are great for mild setups.

If you plan on staying around 400 rwhp there is no need to build a fuel system IMO

get a gt supercar pump and a bap just incase to be safe.

Ford GT dump (you have to upgrade the FPDM also) and you should be able to support 400wheel easily
