Great friends, good atmosphere, sounds like you should keep up the good work.

Or find new friends...

I said had right? Guy still lives with his mom and proceeds to make dumb decisions, like selling a restored 65 with a carb issue to buy a 95. No offense to you guys with 95s

I don't really have a story but almost had one today!
I was in my ram 1500 leaving school in the rain. I almost lost it in a sharp turn... The truck felt like it was just about as sideways as it could get and it scared the **** out of me. Never knew that a 4500 lb truck could drift but I learned otherwise today!

I have 2 stories. The first one I was 18 and had just bought myself a 2000 gt convertible. I learned how to drive stick on it. The third day after I bought the car I took a couple of friends for a ride thinking I would show off. Going from 3rd to 4th I missed 4th and it slipped into 2nd at 90mph. I ended up bending a few valves and had the motor rebuilt and ended up selling that one. Its what I get for trying to show off while I was still learning how to drive stick. The second one is my current 2011 v6. Went skateboarding with a friend and when we came out there was an inch of snow on the ground. Slid into a curb and bent the lower control arm and part of the sub frame. Learned the hard way that summer tires dont like snow haha. As of now the control arm has been replaced and i haven't decided what i'm doing about the sub frame. Had I known it was going to snow I would have driven my other car instead of my mustang.

I'm assuming I tweaked the k member as well. I'll get her on the road again soon. anybody else have a story? And if you rebuilt, how'd it turn out?
What were you doing in the car at the time of the accident?

I don't follow your question. I was making a turn, broke traction and attempted to recover with minimal damage. Not on the phone, not showing off, just driving home.

I never said anything about a phone or anything but the ease of a defensive response is usually a sign u weren't driving properly for the conditions , regardless that sucks and hopefully you get her back as good as new.
